Β Black Dress: Forever 21 Half moon Earrings : Rover & kin (Artisan made Fair trade) Head scarf: Ohm Boho Tribal Hasli Anklet: Firoza Jacket : Old but re-purposed by myself πŸ™‚   It’s been a while since i posted last, a few weeks actually. Believe it or not, i have been collecting so many thoughts in my mindΒ  but i was experiencing a huge creative block ever since then. My mind has been wandering a lot! I certainly have a lot of reasons behind the constant wandering and thats what has made its hard to sit still and write things down. To be honest, i have so many mindful thoughts and real experiences that i would like to share with…

Of Unfulfilled dreams and living without regrets!

Every time i sit down with a pen and a paper pouring my heart out into a blog post, i start questioning myself what this blog really means to me. Ever since i left home i really felt the need to share my feelings and experiences through some kind of a medium (online preferably so more & more of you could relate to it) but i wasn’t sure if this blog was a good idea to start with. It was merely an idea for a hobby that would include a few of different things i enjoy doing, like writing and photography or web designing. We should all be like a SUNFLOWER: Lessons from the field.

🌻 🌻 🌻 Β β€œdespite knowing they won’t be here for long they still choose to live their brightest lives – sunflowers”  ― Rupi Kaur,Β The Sun and Her Flowers   Have you ever longed for something in life so badly that out of no where, it finally happens and you have no clue how? Wearing all things handcrafted: Cotton/ Crop top blouse from: Jaypore Saree: Nani’s closet Tribal Hasli necklace: Bombay Bead   My grandmother’s (nani’s) closet has been a constant source of inspiration when it comes to handloom. Her collection offers sarees dating back to almost 20-30 years or may be later πŸ™‚ (I am yet to explore that). I remember her indulging in beautiful silk sarees, with hues of pinks and blues being her favorites. Later drifted slowly towards easy-breezy chiffons for being light weight and easy to drape according to her age. Recently, i had this amazing opportunity to peek inside her closet, mesmerized and in awe of colorful & lightly hanged chiffons (mostly florals) i stood there gazing in admiration.…

My Saree Story: What dreams are made up of ?

Wearing all things handcrafted: Cotton Saree: Suta Bombay (www.suta.in) Crop top/ Blouse: Chidiyaa ( www.chidiyaa.com) Afghan Earrings :The VelvetBox by Latika Grover   Last post of this month, I can’t even express how happy i am while i write this one, wondering what took me so long to share #mysareestory with you all, having a great adoration for them since my teenage years. I grew up watching my mumma and my nani (maternal grandmother), my mom being an occasional saree lover unlike my grandmother who loves to wear saris on a daily basis, till now. Watching my mumma with admiration as she got ready by draping her saree pleat by pleat, not so meticulously though (that’s also one thing i…
