Hi everyone! How’s it going?
If you read my last post, you may already know that i haven’t been feeling quite well since last few days. Well ever since we came back from our India trip and the weather has changed drastically. Some days feel hectic. Others are extremely slow & awfully cold.
But who’s to blame? This is the balance of life, not all things in life are supposed to go as planned right?
On another note, i am slowly recovering from homesickness. I guess ‘the planets’ had to do something with me feeling quite empty and detached with everything around me. Retrograde really takes my mind for a ride every time it occurs. But again it’s the balance of life, not everything that happens around us is bound to make us feel good, some things might makes us feel detached & uncomfortable only to force us to push back, rewind & understand what we need.
Memories from India
Initially I had planned on sharing a few memories from our India trip here with you guys, capturing some nice moments with family & the things around but later i decided to keep my phone aside & take in life slow & simple. I made sure i enjoyed each & every moment thoroughly with family & everything i have missed all these years: food, family, festivities, crowd & culture in different forms.
I didn’t feel like updating anything here or even tried to capture any moments except the ones that really needed to (birthdays, festivities etc). I honestly don’t regret my decision a bit.
But there are a few things that i absolutely adore & have no control over my emotions when i am around them. If you have been following me here from a while, you may know how much i love & enjoy gardening, flowers and being around plants all day long. To me, life feels a better with having a little green around.
I have visited my in-laws house quite a few times ever since we got married and one of the many things i absolutely love about them is their dedication & kind-heartedness towards Mother nature. One of the many things we have in common i guess 🙂
I am not gong to lie but the garden in the front yard of the house nurtured with so much love & compassion is an absolute delight to eyes and no less than the garden of my dreams. I honestly feel so relaxed and overjoyed every time i visit this place. It really feels like “We are home”.
One of the few days when the sun was kind enough to show up, i made sure to take a walk around it, picking up some fallen flowers, embracing them in my dreads and capture the beauty around.
There’s something so special about such simple pleasures of life and slow days unplugged.
One of the many beautiful memories from India, i could still feel the fresh air up to my lungs as i share these pictures with you all.
Also, meet Gracie 🙂 one of the many other faces i absolutely miss right now & enjoyed spending time with during our recent trip to India.
