It’s been a while since I last posted on the blog. A lot has been going on with the season changing, I had caught the cold weather feels and spent most of the time indoors. I was still trying to hold onto the last couple of weeks of summer but then fall arrived without even knocking our doors, but it was more like a sweet surprise 🙂! I must admit, I was a little sad upon arrival of the Fall season but my sadness didn’t last very long since it usually gets quite beautiful around here with crisp leaves falling all around in beautiful warm colors.
Fall is by far the most beautiful time of the year, its just so lovely walking around jumping and stepping on crisp leave piles. But all things apart, Fall also comes with a lot of lifestyle changes too! Taking all the warm clothes and cozy blankets out with winter approaching and enjoying everything around us in shades of browns, reds and oranges.
The early sunsets and cool weather often makes me wonder that even though Fall is something not to miss but what if winter is not really a place outside? Don’t you think that the best part about this gloomy weather is snuggling inside the softest & coziest blanket, sipping in a hot cup of tea and enjoying your favorite movie? I don’t think i could ever trade this homely feeling with anything else in the world.
There’s so much to do ever since Autumn knocked our doors with a lot of activities to explore which honestly makes it the best time of the year. Where everything around us is decorated with pumpkins and fall scented candles, one of my favorite activities of this season is looking closely at the leaves maturing and changing colors from lush greens to beautiful bright yellows & oranges and finally collecting a few for myself. This is the first time in last 6 years that i have experienced fall so closely, my eyes literally couldn’t believe the magical sights all around.
WHAT FALL TEACHES US? 🍁
Fall is the best season but it’s also the shortest. There is more to autumn than the turning of leaves on earth, it is also a reminder to love passionately and enjoy every moment you encounter while you’re alive! Its such an amazing feeling to let go of things that you have been holding up in your heart from quite a long time just like watching these leaves trembling on the branches ready to fall and let go!
Fall is a reminder to the fact that there’s so much more to life and new opportunities to look forward to, when one season ends, there’s another one approaching us with new lessons and experiences.
Even though i am not yet ready for winter and Fall is almost gone, I am grateful to be able to spend time enjoying the magical colors around and decorating our space with beautiful and crisp fall leaves i had collected. Today I am sharing some of my favorite easiest DIY fall decor ideas that I have tried simply using different hues of Fall leaves collected all around from the neighborhood.
