Not so long go i had a chance to work with an amazing brand called “Freeleaf” known for its handcrafted knotted products with a mission to help & empower human trafficking survivors and at-risk individuals by providing them with holistic-care and employment opportunities through their products. It was the very first time i had worked with such a brand which in return also helped me realize why is it important to use my voice for something that needs to be heard by the entire world. It’s quite interesting and disappointing at the same time that almost all of us wish for the same things in life be it independence, freedom of speech, a respectful & dignified life and fair…

Wearing all things handcrafted: Cotton/ Crop top blouse from: Jaypore Saree: Nani’s closet Tribal Hasli necklace: Bombay Bead   My grandmother’s (nani’s) closet has been a constant source of inspiration when it comes to handloom. Her collection offers sarees dating back to almost 20-30 years or may be later 🙂 (I am yet to explore that). The value of one’s roots or the foundation of one’s existence and every little thing (people, situations & circumstances) in life that has helped you reach the place where you are right now,…

Continuing with my initiative: #MadeinIndia as a part of doing a little something towards adapting ethical & conscious ways of living life and indulging myself in taking better decisions towards a better future. Honestly, from the day I started researching about sustainable lifestyle and ways to adopt it in daily life, it has not been an easy journey. Taking conscious decisions in terms of fashion is not a day’s work, or not a blog post that explains everything in words but is a lifestyle change, more like a revolution! You can imagine how hard it is, but at the same time it’s the future, so better get started right away! Sustainable or Ethical, what is that? In simple terms, “sustainable” and…
